October 2016
Sometimes a random happening in your daily routine can become something you will remember for a long time. Today, driving home from work, I was sitting at a traffic light in the middle of a long line of cars on a sunny, breezy fall day. On either side of the road there were huge fields of prairie grasses which were were dispersing white, fluffy seeds into the air. Thousands upon thousands of these things were streaking over the road and through my open sunroof and windows until they were swirling about inside my car. All the while, I had "The Laughter" by the band, The Mary Onettes, blasting through the speakers providing the unintentional perfect soundtrack for the moment. Unexpected, but welcome.
